Golden Mask 5+ SE Platinum is a new version of the original Golden Mask 5+ SE, with higher working frequencies - 15 and 30 kHz for better sensitivity to low-conducting metals as Gold.

At 15 kHz the Platinum could be used with great success for beach, relic and treasure hunting, while at 30 kHz it is very sensitive to tiny jewelry pieces and thin coins, and especially on such targets made from low-conducting metals as Gold.
The Golden mask 5+ SE Platinum has absolutely the same controls and main electronics as the original 5+ SE 8/18kHz, the only difference is the design of the front panel (with Silver/Platinum base color) and of course - the working frequencies.

The Rover UC metal detector is disguised as a walking stick and allows searching in areas where you couldn't with common detectors. Without arousing public interest and getting curious looks, you can scan places you never could scan before. The length of the trekking pole can be adjusted individually because of its telescopic mechanism and is equipped with an integrated FM radio. Thus the Rover UC metal detector is usable as a functional multimedia-based hiking stick to bring its camouflage to perfection. Like all other metal detectors of the Rover Series, the Rover UC is a stunning blend of functionality, ergonomics and practical design. Due to its small weight of just 0.65 kg you can take it everywhere you want. By using just one button you can manage all operating modes.

The following operating modes are available:

• Visual magnetometer to locate ferromagnetic metal objects underground
• Visual 3d ground scans with manual and automatic impulse mode (graphical ground scans with three-dimensional analysis directly on the smart phone)
• Visual metal discrimination between ferrous and non-ferrous metals

All measurements can be instantly analyzed on-site. If required you are able to save and reopen all graphics on the smart phone for further analysis if necessary.

Long range locators can quickly scan a wide area and determine if a concentration of gold, coins, nuggets, jewelry, a cache,  or other valuables are within the reach area of the instrument. if no target is picked up, the operator can eliminate and just ignore the site, and move on to the next position to be scanned. If a target lock is achieve, then the conventional metal detector can be used to quickly search the designated spot in order to pinpoint and recover the target. A target lock is achieved when the SYSTEM B, which is free floating on its handle, points to a particular area resisting from pointing away from it even when the operator swings past it. Easiest way to mentally picture a target lock is this : if you hold a campass in your hand, the needle will point NORTH. If you change the position of the compass, regardless of how you rotate it, the needle will resist the change, and still point to the original North position. The B reacts basically the same way. In order to minimize the target area, the operator can take several readings from various positions, taking note of where the visual lines from each position intersect. That will be the general area of target position. Now the operator needs to pinpoint the target center by searching a small area. The B is mostly designed to find somewhat large targets, but numerous EXPERIENCED operators are able to locate small targets as well. The B is not a comventional metal detector and does not work as one. If you never used long range equipment, you will need to spend some time learning what the instrument is trying to tell you before you become proficient with it. If you are not the patient type willing to spend time in the field with it and expect this to be your personal "magic wand", then this is not for you. Distance and depth of the instrument is largely dependent on size of targets and lenght of time in the ground. Freshly buried targets or "test targets" setting above the ground will not generate strong pulls or target locks. Long buried targets will give strong targets response. This is due to the chemical reaction that takes place between a target and the natural minerals in the ground over time. Long buried targets respond better than targets buried only a few years.
